Like, why did you hurt me?

Like, how could you make me cry?

Wasn't I was worth more?

Wasn't I precious in your eyes?

Never thought I'd see you again

But now, I guess I have some things to say

So please listen just a moment

The pain and fear

I forgive you

The doubts you put in me about my worth

I forgive you

Stealing my youth

I forgive you

Being the reason I was less than I should have been

But I thank you

For teaching me that life is made of grays and good can come with bad

I thank you

For being the challenge that I had to overcome to be strong

I thank you

For being the bad example I use to be a better person

I wish you were alive to hear this, because you died too young, knowing what you did was wrong.

But I forgive you for that too.
